The questions clients actually ask.
Timelines, pricing, contracts, how AI is used, and who owns the result. Answered once, plainly.
- 01
How long does a project take?
Weeks, not days — and the number depends on scope rather than on how fast we can generate frames. Discovery alone is measured in days. A single creature with a defined brief is a shorter engagement than an ecosystem; the fit call is where we give you a real range rather than an optimistic one.
- 02
What does it cost?
We are a premium-tier specialist studio, and we are not the cheapest option for any brief. Discovery is priced separately from production, because discovery is real work and pricing production before it is finished would be a guess. You get a written scope and a written price before anything starts.
- 03
Do you always work under contract?
Always. Every project begins with a signed agreement covering scope, deliverables, milestones, timeline, revisions, and usage rights. This protects both sides and is non-negotiable. We do not start work on verbal scope — ambiguity is where quality dies.
- 04
Will you share or license your internal systems?
No. We ship outputs, never engines. The systems that produce your project remain exclusive to Zayne Forge projects — see The Vault for the full position. What you receive is complete: final deliverables, usage rights, and a verification report.
- 05
How do you use AI?
As an instrument, the way a camera is an instrument. The value is in the research layer that decides what to make before anything is generated, and in the verification that measures the result afterwards. A tool without that layer produces output that looks plausible in one frame and falls apart across a sequence.
- 06
Who owns the work?
Ownership and usage rights are defined in your agreement, with full usage rights by default. It is settled in writing before production begins, not negotiated after delivery.
- 07
Do you take on small or fast-turnaround projects?
Rarely, and we will tell you honestly on the fit call. If the priority is the lowest price and the fastest turnaround, there are volume studios for that and we will say so. Our clients come to us when realism is the product.
- 08
Do you work with specialists outside the studio?
Yes, for domain-heavy projects. Paleontologists for fossil-accurate anatomy, archaeologists for material culture, colour-science experts for palettes and period-accurate grading. The team is assembled around the project, and their notes change the design rather than decorate it.
- 09
How do I know the work will hold up?
Every deliverable is measured against internal standards before it leaves the studio, and each project ships with a verification report describing what was checked. Beyond that, our work has been reviewed for realism and accuracy by working directors and Emmy-level juries.
- 10
Where are you based, and do you work internationally?
Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. We work with film studios, documentary producers, brands and game developers in India and internationally.
- 11
What do you need from me to start?
A conversation first. After that: whatever defines the world — scripts, references, existing designs, constraints, and the deadline you are actually working to. If some of that does not exist yet, discovery is where we build it with you.
